Good CGI but CGI is the golden foil wrapping a massive turd. This happens when feminists with only agenda and vengeance in mind get hold of an IP. They raze it to the ground. It was a fine, fun film and was a fitting end to the trilogy and the overall 9 film arc.
It should also be noted I utterly despised The Last Jedi, which was, in many ways, ret-conned out of existence in this film.
A combination of quick scenes well cut and to the point, good acting, engaging story, wonderful visuals and a masterful sense of scale carried me on a wave
of genuine excitement and engagement as I watched The Rise of Skywalker.
The last few minutes were definitely an emotional time as everything was brought to a clean, clear, logical end.
Every battle scene was epic and every little bit of exposition fitted in well. For me then, this another fine Star Wars film.
As a side note regards the other films,The Phantom Menace wasn"t great but had its great moments. TLJ was just bad. Appallingly bad. I do not own it and will never watch it again.
All the others, including Rogue One and Solo were great films, and The Mandalorian TV series rocks.
My faith in the Star Wars franchise has been renewed with The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorain TV show.
If Disney can keep Star Wars on this new path, then there is real hope going forward.
